Three Gillette students have been named to the spring 2019 semester high honors and dean’s list at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. Earning high honors with a 4.0 grade point average were Tyler Hilliard, Marco Quinones and William Williams of Gillette. They were among 21 students from all over Wyoming who received the honors.

Gillette College awarded more than 300 degrees during its 29th commencement ceremony May 10 in Gillette.

“The achievements of a college diploma or certificate is a major milestone,” said Paul Young, president of the Northern Wyoming Community College District. “Our Gillette College students continue to excel, while preparing for the next step in their lives. Congratulations to the class of 2019.”

Joshua Owens of Gillette was named to the President’s List at Mitchell Technical Institute for the spring semester by earning at least a 3.5 GPA as a full-time student. He is majoring in automation Controls/SCADA.

Rebecca Jones of Gillette and Shauna Rasmussen of Wright gradated from Montana State University in May. Rasmussen graduated with the highest honors with a minimum GPA of 3.7.

Several Campbell County students were named to honor rolls at Sheridan College for the spring semester.

Baylee Hamlin of Gillette and Luke Sanborn of Wright were named to the President’s Honor Roll by earning a perfect 4.0 GPA as full-time students for the semster.

Christina Johnson, Keith Kinsinger, Hannah Lloyd, Elijah Moore and Linda Osorio of Gillette, Nicolette Krumberger of Recluse and Jordyn Diaz of Wright were named to the Vice President’s Honor Roll by earning at least a 3.5 GPA as full-time students.

Stefan Reyes of Gillette was named to the Part-Time Honor Roll by earning a 3.5 or better GPA as a part-time student.

Nicholas Bostow and Zachary Wager of Gillette were named to the President’s Honor Roll at Bismarck State College for the spring semester. They earned at least a 3.50 GPA as full-time students. Wager earned a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Kodi Edwards and Macie Mackey of Gillette; Taylar Braden, Miami Leeper, Maddison Reynolds and Linda Vandever of Moorcroft; and Rosita Araiza of Wright have graduated from Eastern Wyoming College.

Edwards also was named to the President’s Honor Roll by earning a 4.0 GPA. Mackey was named to the Dean’s Honor Roll by earning at least a 3.5 GPA.
