A$AP Rocky supporter arrested at Swedish Embassy after threatening to 'blow this motherf----- up' - Washington Examiner

A woman was arrested at the Swedish Embassy in Washington on Tuesday for allegedly threatening to "blow this motherf----- up" and causing damage to property as she protested rapper A$AP Rocky's recent incarceration in Sweden.

Secret Service officers detained Rebecca Kanter at the House of Sweden after "cursing and screaming" at staff members and knocking over a teepee and coffee table in the lobby, according to NBC Washington.

"Kanter began cursing and screaming at embassy personnel and a student group tour, making statements about an American rapper, A$AP Rocky, who is detained in Sweden," Secret Service Officer William Ayers wrote in an affidavit.

Embassy personnel then ordered Kanter to leave the property, but she refused.

"Call the police, I'm not leaving," Kanter said while sitting on the floor. She was then arrested by Secret Service.

Kanter first arrived at the Swedish Embassy on Monday when she reportedly threw liquid from a Coca-Cola bottle and threatened to blow up the building, according to the complaint.

She posted about the incident on social media, saying, "why isn't it breaking news that I defiled the House of Sweden last night, that I vandalized the Wold Bank, that I vandalized the IMF ... why aren't I getting press for ASAP."

A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, and his bodyguards were detained in Sweden earlier this month after a fight broke out in Stockholm on June 30. The rapper was charged with assault by Swedish prosecutors.

A$AP Rocky, 30, claimed to have acted in self-defense, but video on social media showed the rapper allegedly throwing someone to the ground.

President Trump has tried to negotiate A$AP Rocky's release the past two weeks, even calling the Swedish prime minister to request for the rapper's release.

"Just had a very good call with @SwedishPM Stefan Löfven who assured me that American citizen A$AP Rocky will be treated fairly," Trump tweeted on Saturday. "Likewise, I assured him that A$AP was not a flight risk and offered to personally vouch for his bail."

Talks with Löfven stalled on Thursday after a Swedish prosecutor denied A$AP Rocky's assertion of self-defense, and Trump voiced his displeasure on Twitter.

"Very disappointed in Prime Minister Stefan Löfven for being unable to act. Sweden has let our African American Community down in the United States," Trump wrote. "I watched the tapes of A$AP Rocky, and he was being followed and harassed by troublemakers. Treat Americans fairly!#FreeRocky Give A$AP Rocky his FREEDOM. We do so much for Sweden but it doesn’t seem to work the other way around. Sweden should focus on its real crime problem! #FreeRocky”

Kanter was released on bail but has been charged with willfully injuring and damaging property of a foreign government and refusing to depart a foreign embassy. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 31.
