Days of Our Lives Gabi Dimera (Camilla Banus) has asked Dr. Rolf (William Utay) to save Stefan Dimera (Brandon Barash). Dr. Rolf says Stefan cannot be saved but does he have an ace up his sleeve? Is Dr. Rolf about to make Stefan one of his pet projects?

Kayla Says Stefan Is Brain Dead

Days of Our Lives Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) has given Stefan a death sentence. Kayla says that Stefan is brain dead and hope that Gabi will donate his heart to Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes). Gabi is not ready to give up on her husband. Gabi cannot face the fact that she has finally found happiness and it was gone in an instant. Will Gabi consent to donating Stefan’s heart to Julie? Will Rolf steal Stefan’s body to try and revive him with a new procedure.

Rolf Wants To Examine Kristen Weekly

Days of Our Lives Dr. Rolf has informed Kristen that he wants to see her weekly. Strangely, this did not come until after Gabi called in the hospital. Has Gabi’s determination to save Stefan given Rolf an idea that might save him? Could Rolf have a plan to use stem cells from Kristen’s baby’s umbilical cord to try to generate new brain cells for Stefan? Could Rolf have invented a way to bring Stefan back from the death literally? Rolf has brought back Vivian Alamain (Robin Strasser), Will Horton (Chandler Massey), and Tony Dimera (Thaao Penghlis) to name a few. Has Dr. Rolf decided to try and save Stefan from certain death and organ donation? Is this what Rolf believes Stefano Dimera (Joe Mascolo) would want?

Stefan Has No Neurological Activity

According to Kayla and her EEG, Stefan has no neurological function at all. Kayla has not had a lot of luck with her diagnosis lately. Kayla thought Kate Dimera (Lauren Koslow) was knocking on heaven’s door when Lucas Roberts (Bryan Dattilo) agreed to donate her heart to Julie. In recent years there have been a few people who have woken up after being declared brain dead, or at least thought to be. Is it possible that the brain shuts down to protect itself from further injury only to reboot itself when the danger has passed? Could Dr. Rolf help the process along and save Stefan to bring him back to Gabi at a later time?

Dr. Rolf might be a mad scientist but he has pulled off a few miracles in his time. Will Dr. Rolf be Gabi’s hero and bring Stefan back to his wife? Could Stefan come home to a surprise and find that Gabi has had their child in his absence? It will certainly be interesting to see what “pet projects” Dr. Rolf has planned.
