Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers contains a close call for Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), some bonding between several of Salem’s alleged finest, and a desperate search for the answers to Will Horton’s (Chandler Massey) medical issues. If you missed all the Days of Our Lives spoilers, let’s get to the highlights…
‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers: Kristen Goes Is Completely Out of Control, Goes On Massive Power Trip!
Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is impressed (and a little incredulous) at the information they’re finding by sifting through the notes Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) has from his time working with Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay). She calls him a real-life mad scientist as she looks over the plans he had for a mask that will allow someone to pass for someone else.
Rex off-handedly attests to its effectiveness by pointing out it was actually used once, and we love Sarah’s “WTH” reaction to that. Unfortunately, none of the information he has is going to help Will. He’s frustrated and disappointed by this.
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers: Bonding time
It seems everyone is looking to either open up to someone, or try to help out today. We start with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), who is still devastated after the funeral and Not-Nicole’s accusations. She wants to work through the pain, but Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) won’t hear of it.
Julie wants Chloe to head out and take it easy tonight. She later comes across Rex, still disappointed about his lack of progress in helping Will. She ends up crying on his shoulder on a bench outside, while he does the gentlemanly thing and gives her his jacket.
Of course, Chloe didn’t leave immediately. She stuck around long enough to tell Even Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) all about her breaking it off with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) after catching him in bed with Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus). Chloe thinks that giving Stefan a chance was Eve’s worst advice ever, and Eve actually appears to feel bad about the development. Eve was just about to confess the diary situation to her when Jack interrupts.
Meanwhile, Julie has decided to have a little come-to-Jesus talk with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), who’d only wanted a drink out with Eve. The two banter back and forth about his forgotten past, his focus on his future, and how he’s hurting Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves).
He’s sleeping just fine, thanks. As an example of what a horrible and incompetent Mayor he is, she points to Eve as commissioner by saying, and we quote, “When they say ‘needs police experience,’ it doesn’t mean as a suspect. Eleven times.” We can’t with this awesome. Of course, Jack comes back by pretending to get a memory back…. of Julie being a “relentless cow”. Dang. We want more scenes with these two.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Maggie and Xander Bond
Also bonding today is, surprisingly, Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). He catches her drunk as a skunk and ends up opening up to her about his mothers own drinking struggles and how it affected him. Xander offers her some water while they talk about her supposed Kristen sighting.
He is definitely fishing, but he also seems to genuinely be trying to help? We feel like we’ve just stepped into a parallel world. He ends up falling asleep with Maggie on the couch, and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) catches them.
In other news, Stefan had confronted Gabi about ruining things with Chloe, but actually comes to admit that he is just as much to blame, if not more so. Gabi, of course, is proud of her scheming self. And we still think the old Stefan wouldn’t have bought this con for a second.
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers: Liar, liar
Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) is shocked when Not-Nicole tells Brady that Eric had attacked her. She plays it up so well, we’re starting to wonder if even Eric is buying into this. He apologizes and swears that her falling was an accident, and he really just wanted to warn her about Xander being found with “Holly’s” autopsy results.
She’s about to call the cops on him when Brady smooths things over. He sends Eric away and Not-Nicole makes yet another attempt at getting some action while also being questioned about the supposed Kristen sighting. She laughs it off and claims that Maggie was so out of it, she was hallucinating.
He admits that she was definitely drunk when he saw her, and Not-Nicole helpfully points out that this wasn’t the first time she witnessed Maggie with booze.
Unfortunately for her, all her efforts are in vain, and Eric leaves. She is furious about not getting what she wanted and proceeds to trash her hotel room, rock-star style. Eve and Jack just happened to be outside and Eve shows her humanity once more while also almost ending this plot before it can even start. See, Kristen is sans-mask, and Eve, hearing the commotion, wants to help comfort a fellow grieving mother.
Jack advises against it, and Eve realizes that he is probably right about her wanting to be alone right now. Lucky break for Kristen, but seriously. She is her own worst enemy, and is probably going to expose this scheme herself in record time if she keeps this behaviour.
